Do KLD Young Scholars have to apply to join the Kwong Lee Dow First Year Program?

No. Students who have been selected as KLD Young Scholars and then go on to enrol at the University of Melbourne after completing secondary school automatically become members of the Kwong Lee Dow First Year Program.

What can I expect from the Kwong Lee Dow First Year Program?

How will I find out about activities offered by the KLD First Year Program?

We will alert you to upcoming events via this website and by email. You should check your University email regularly (at least once a day) for information regarding the KLD program and many other important messages which will be issued through your University email account.

Does the KLD First Year Program offer individual support if I have any problems?

The KLD First Year Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning and organisation of all activities offered in the program. Any questions about these activities or about the program itself can be directed to the Coordinator.

If you have problems related to your course or your first year experience in other ways, such as financial or housing difficulties, learning or health issues, you have access to a wide range of support services which are available at the University.
